How to verify your BVN

Your BVN (Bank Verification Number) lets us securely confirm your identity against your bank records.

How to add your BVN

1. Go to Profile then Verification.
2. Select the BVN step.
3. Enter your 11-digit BVN exactly as registered with your bank.
4. Submit and wait for the match to complete.

Find your BVN

If you don't know your BVN, dial *565*0# from the phone number linked to your bank account, or check with your bank.

Common issues

• Name mismatch: The name on your BVN must match the details on your account. Update your profile to match your BVN records.
• Wrong number: Double-check all 11 digits before submitting.
• Phone number: Use the phone number registered with your BVN where possible.

Tip: We only use your BVN to verify your identity. We never have access to your bank passwords or PINs.
