Set up two-factor authentication
2FA protects larger transfers by default. Tighten or relax the threshold to fit your business.

Two-factor authentication adds a second check to sensitive actions, especially moving money.
How it works by default
Boldswitch enforces a second factor, a biometric or an OTP, on transfers above 100,000 Naira by default. Smaller transfers go through with your usual approval.
Adjust the threshold
- Open Settings, then Security, then 2FA.
- Lower the threshold to require 2FA on every transfer, or
- Raise the protection to require both a biometric and an OTP above a custom amount.
Pick the setting that matches how much money your business moves day to day.
Tip: If several people can approve payments, a lower threshold is a good safeguard against mistakes and unauthorised transfers.
