Keep your business account secure

A few habits that keep your account, money and team safe, and the one rule we never break.

Last updated June 1, 2026

A few simple habits keep your account and your money safe.

The basics

  • Use a strong 6-digit PIN. Avoid 123456, repeated digits, or your date of birth.
  • Turn on biometrics so you sign in with Face ID or a fingerprint.
  • Keep your phone's own lock screen on with its own passcode.
  • Review your activity feed regularly and act on anything unfamiliar.

The one rule we never break

Boldswitch will never ask for your PIN, OTP, BVN, full card details or one-time codes, by phone, email, SMS, WhatsApp or any other channel. Anyone who asks is impersonating us.

If you're asked, stop, don't reply, and report it.

Where your data lives

Your data is stored in CBN-compliant cloud infrastructure in Nigeria, with encrypted backups in geographically separate locations. Personal information is encrypted at rest and in transit. We never sell or share your data with third parties for marketing.

Tip: Set a 2FA threshold that fits your business so larger transfers always need a second factor.
