Ways to collect payments

Boldswitch gives your business five ways to take a payment, and every one settles instantly to your Boldswitch balance.

Your collection methods

• QR code / Scan & Pay — the customer scans your code and pays in seconds. Best for counters and tills.
• Face Pay — biometric, Boldswitch-to-Boldswitch, with no card or PIN. The customer just looks at the camera.
• Bank transfer — share your virtual account number and accept a transfer from any Nigerian bank.
• Payment request / hosted link — send a link by SMS or WhatsApp; the customer pays from any bank or wallet.
• POS terminal — take card and transfer payments in person, with printed receipts.

Which one should I use?

1. For a physical store or stall, lead with QR or Face Pay.
2. For remote or online sales, send a payment link.
3. For walk-in card customers, use the POS terminal.
