Accept Face Pay

Face Pay lets a customer pay by simply looking at your camera, with no card and no PIN. It works Boldswitch-to-Boldswitch.

Set up Face Pay at the till

1. Place a phone or tablet running Boldswitch Business at the counter, camera facing the customer.
2. Open the Take Payment screen and tap Face Pay.
3. The customer looks at the camera.
4. The app matches their face against their verified Boldswitch wallet and pulls the payment.

The whole interaction takes about two seconds, and both parties get an instant receipt.

Good to know

• The customer needs a verified Boldswitch wallet for Face Pay to work.
• Face Pay is between Boldswitch users today; more wallets are coming.
• Face Pay collections cost 0.5% on Starter and 0.4% on Business.

Tip: Position the camera at counter level and in good light for the fastest match.
