How to create a virtual card

Create a virtual card in seconds to start spending online.

Create your card

1. Open the Boldswitch app and tap Cards.
2. Tap Create card.
3. Choose a card colour — Purple, Black, or Orange.
4. Review the details, then confirm.
5. Fund your card so it's ready to use (see the link below).

Creating a USD card costs 3 dollars, and an NGN card costs 1,000 naira. The fee is shown before you confirm, so there are no surprises.

Your USD virtual card lets you spend in dollars for online purchases at merchants that accept USD.

Good to know

• You can create more than one card and give each its own colour.
• Card details (number, expiry, CVV) are available once the card is created.
• A USD card needs at least 3 dollars to fund it before its first use.
