Keep your account secure
Simple habits that keep your money and data safe.
Last updated June 1, 2026
Your account is protected by a 4-digit transaction PIN and biometrics. A few simple habits keep it that way.
Build secure habits
- Set a PIN that is hard to guess. Avoid birthdays, repeated digits or 1234.
- Turn on biometric login and biometric pay so only you can approve actions.
- Keep your phone locked with a passcode, Face ID or fingerprint.
- Install Boldswitch and your phone updates promptly so you have the latest protections.
- Review your transaction alerts so you spot anything unusual right away.
Never share these
- Your transaction PIN.
- Any OTP or verification code.
Boldswitch will never ask for your PIN or OTP by call, text, email or chat. Anyone who does is trying to scam you.
If something looks wrong
If you notice a transaction you did not make, change your PIN immediately and contact support@boldswitch.ng. New devices trigger a re-verification challenge, so an unfamiliar sign-in attempt is also worth reporting.
