Last updated June 1, 2026
Every Boldswitch business gets its own virtual account number, a real bank account number that pays directly into your Boldswitch balance.
What it is
- A dedicated account number tied to your business.
- Any Nigerian bank can transfer to it.
- Money sent to it settles to your Boldswitch balance, usually within seconds.
How to use it
- Find your virtual account number under your account or wallet details.
- Share the account number and bank name with customers or suppliers.
- Receive transfers straight into your balance.
Tip: Inbound bank transfers cost a flat ₦25 each, while payments from other Boldswitch users are free.
To split incoming money by branch or campaign, see create and use sub-accounts (/business/virtual-accounts/create-and-use-sub-accounts). To share your details cleanly, see finding and sharing your account details (/business/virtual-accounts/finding-sharing-account-details).
