Your business virtual account number explained

Every business gets a dedicated account number that funds your Boldswitch balance directly.

Last updated June 1, 2026

Every Boldswitch business gets its own virtual account number, a real bank account number that pays directly into your Boldswitch balance.

What it is

  • A dedicated account number tied to your business.
  • Any Nigerian bank can transfer to it.
  • Money sent to it settles to your Boldswitch balance, usually within seconds.

How to use it

  1. Find your virtual account number under your account or wallet details.
  2. Share the account number and bank name with customers or suppliers.
  3. Receive transfers straight into your balance.

Tip: Inbound bank transfers cost a flat ₦25 each, while payments from other Boldswitch users are free.

To split incoming money by branch or campaign, see create and use sub-accounts (/business/virtual-accounts/create-and-use-sub-accounts). To share your details cleanly, see finding and sharing your account details (/business/virtual-accounts/finding-sharing-account-details).
