How to convert NGN to USD and back

You can convert between Naira (NGN) and US Dollars (USD) directly in the Boldswitch app.

How to convert

1. Tap Convert or FX on the home screen.
2. Choose the currency you are converting from and the currency you are converting to.
3. Enter the amount you want to convert. The minimum is 1,000 naira when converting from naira, or 1 dollar when converting from dollars.
4. Boldswitch shows a live quote with the rate, the fee, and the exact amount you will receive.
5. Review the rate and fee, then confirm before the quote expires.

Converting the other way works exactly the same: just swap the from and to currencies. The fee is 0.5 percent when converting from naira and 1 percent when converting from dollars.

After converting

The converted balance is available in your account right away and ready to send or spend.

Tip: Quotes are only valid for a short time. Confirm quickly so the rate does not expire.
