FX fees

Boldswitch charges a small fee on each currency conversion, applied to the rate. The fee depends on the direction you are converting.

How the fee is calculated

The fee is a percentage applied to the rate, and it depends on which currency you are converting from.

Direction	Fee
Naira to dollars (from NGN)	0.5 percent
Dollars to naira (from USD)	1 percent

Because the fee is built into the rate, the amount you receive already has it taken out.

Where you see it

The exact rate, the fee, and the final amount you receive are always shown on the quote screen before you confirm. There are no hidden charges.

Tip: Converting a larger amount once is usually cheaper than several small conversions, because the fee applies to each one.
