FX conversion fees

When you convert between naira and dollars, a foreign exchange (FX) fee applies. The fee is a small percentage applied to the exchange rate, and it depends on the direction you're converting.

How the FX fee works

Converting from naira (NGN to USD)	0.5% applied to the exchange rate
Converting from dollars (USD to NGN)	1% applied to the exchange rate

There's a minimum per conversion: ₦1,000 when converting from naira, and $1 when converting from dollars.

The fee is applied on top of the exchange rate, and the app shows the rate, the fee and the amount you'll receive before you confirm.

Before you convert

1. Open the convert flow and choose your currencies and amount.
2. Review the displayed rate, fee and the amount you'll receive.
3. Confirm to complete the conversion.

Tips to get more value

• Check the live rate shown in-app before confirming.
• Remember the minimums: ₦1,000 from naira and $1 from dollars.
