Account limits by tier
How your max balance, deposits, transfers and daily debits change with your tier.
Last updated June 18, 2026
Your account limits increase as you complete verification and move up tiers. An unverified (Tier 0) account must complete verification before it can transact at all.
Limits by verification tier
| Limit | Tier 1 | Tier 2 |
|---|---|---|
| Max wallet balance | ₦200,000 | Unlimited |
| Max single deposit | ₦200,000 | ₦50,000,000 |
| Max single transfer | ₦20,000 | ₦1,000,000 |
| Max daily debit (spend/send per day) | ₦50,000 | ₦5,000,000 |
What each limit means
| Limit | What it means |
|---|---|
| Max wallet balance | The most your wallet can hold at once |
| Max single deposit | The largest amount you can add in one transaction |
| Max single transfer | The largest amount you can send in one transaction |
| Max daily debit | The total you can send or spend in a day |
How tiers affect limits
- Tier 0 (unverified): You'll need to complete verification before you can transact.
- Tier 1: Completing email, BVN, selfie, address and ID unlocks your everyday limits.
- Tier 2: Adding US ID, US address and income verification raises limits sharply and unlocks US banking features.
Where to check yours
Open Profile then Verification to see your current limits and tier.
Tip: If a transaction is blocked by a limit, completing the next tier is usually the fastest way to raise it.
