Understanding deposit limits
How much you can deposit and how verification raises your limits.
Last updated June 18, 2026
Your deposit limits depend on your verification tier. The more you verify, the higher your limits.
Limits that apply to deposits
- Max single deposit: the largest amount you can add in one transaction.
- Max wallet balance: the most your wallet can hold at once.
Both increase as you move up verification tiers.
| Limit | Tier 1 | Tier 2 |
|---|---|---|
| Max wallet balance | ₦200,000 | Unlimited |
| Max single deposit | ₦200,000 | ₦50,000,000 |
If you are unverified (Tier 0), you can't transact until you complete verification.
How to raise your limits
- Complete all KYC steps to reach Tier 1 (email, BVN, selfie, address, ID).
- For higher USD limits and US banking, reach Tier 2 (US ID, US address, income verification).
Where to check
Open Profile then Verification to see your current tier and limits.
Tip: If a deposit is blocked because it would exceed your max balance, lower the amount or raise your tier first.
