Pay electricity bills (prepaid vs postpaid)

Pay for electricity whether your meter is prepaid or postpaid.

Prepaid vs postpaid

• Prepaid: you pay first and receive a token to load onto your meter.
• Postpaid: you pay for power you've already used, against your account.

Pay your bill

1. Tap Bills and choose Electricity.
2. Select your provider (disco).
3. Choose Prepaid or Postpaid.
4. Enter your meter or account number.
5. Enter the amount — at least 500 naira — then review and confirm with your PIN.

For prepaid, your token is shown on screen and saved to the transaction details — enter it on your meter to load the units.

Double-check your meter number before paying. Tokens are generated for the exact number you enter.
