1. How long do transfers take?
- ACH (Next-Day): 1–3 business days
- ACH (Same-Day): If sent before 4 PM EST, funds arrive same day
- Wire Transfer: If received before 5 PM EST, processed same day
Note: Transfers only settle on US banking days. Delays may occur during US federal holidays or weekends.
2. What is the minimum amount I can send or receive?
The minimum is $20 for both inbound and outbound transactions.
3. Where do I include a memo/reference?
Always include the unique memo code provided by Boldswitch during your transfer request.
For most banks (e.g., Chase, Mercury), enter this in the field labeled “Message to Recipient”.
Missing the memo may delay your deposit.
4. What are the supported payment methods?
For US-based transactions:
- ACH (Standard and Same-Day)
- Domestic Wire Transfer
Boldswitch does not currently support:
- SWIFT transfers
- International wires outside the US
5. When does Boldswitch process transfers?
Transfers are processed only on business days when US banks are open.
- ACH cutoff: 1 PM ET (after which it processes the next business day)
- Wire cutoff: 5 PM ET
6. Can I send funds out of my Boldswitch account?
Yes. You can initiate USD transfers to other US bank accounts via:
- ACH
- Wire
Transfers are subject to transaction limits, compliance approval, and fees.
7. Can I make third-party payments?
Third-party payments are allowed under approved scenarios, including:
- Paying vendors
- Receiving payroll
- Sending to close relatives
Peer-to-peer transfers between individuals may be enabled upon request and review.
8. What happens if I enter incorrect recipient info?
You are fully responsible for verifying all recipient account details. Boldswitch is not liable for funds lost due to incorrect or incomplete beneficiary information.
9. Can I receive funds from brokerages or fintech apps?
Yes. First-party payments (where you’re sending to yourself) from apps, fintech platforms, or brokerages are fully supported.
10. What if my transfer fails or delays?
If funds haven’t arrived after the expected time:
- Contact us with details of the transfer
- If sent via ACH or wire, request a Trace ID or IMAD from your sending bank
We will work with our partners to investigate.
